For a one year fix, plus he could help leadership wise. If he's washed up, which i don't think so, you simply cut him in training camp. This seems such an obvious fix, it's ridiculous.

He played for Florida St. & Tampa Bay over the last 18-19 years.

Why in the name of God would he want to play for Buffalo at this point in his life ?

I've mentioned Brooks over and over again. It would be ideal for us. But I think he wants to leave his career where it began, down in Tampa.

yeah i think he's waiting for the perfect situation.

then again, simion rice seemed good until they cut him. after that nobody would touch him with YOUR-ten foot pole.

he may be old - but what's the risk? If he's done, cut him. If he has anything left, he's better than Ellison.
