Re: Article on Patriots beating Bills 11 straight times
Why don't they write an article about wide right or Thurman losing his helmet or the home run forward lateral while they're at it? Seriously, I didn't need to relive this whole thing. This is the year we break that streak though.

Re: Article on Patriots beating Bills 11 straight times
While it would be nice to have Lynch for the opener, I think the element of surprise should be on the side of the Bills since Owens figures to be a big part of the Bills' offense. Owens will certainly play a role in preseason, but the bills will hold something back to spring on the Patriots. At least there's a chance the string could end.I've made up my mind. Don't confuse me with the facts.
I'm the most reasonable poster here. If you don't agree, I'll be forced to have a hissy fit.

Re: Article on Patriots beating Bills 11 straight times
As long as Bellicheck and Brady are in NE, the Bills start every season 0-2. There are no guarantees in sports, but the Bills dropping two to the Patriots this season is about as close to a guarantee as it gets.
It wouldn't surprise me at all if the Patriots beat the Dolphins' record of 20 straight wins against the Bills. The roster doesn't have the talent to hang with them and Jauron doesn't have the smarts to hang with Bellicheck.

Re: Article on Patriots beating Bills 11 straight times
Quick numbers on how we match up with divisional teams.
Patriots
Before the streak we were actually 40-45-1 all time vs. the Patriots. Striking distance.
They also beat us 11 times in a row between 82-87 (Those were some lean years for the Bills).
Our biggest streak vs. the Patriots was from 71-75 when we beat them 9 straight times.
Golden Era: from 1988 to the first game in 1994 we went 11-2 vs. New England. Not bad, but not 16-1.
Dolphins
We all know that Miami beat us 20 times in the 70's. Ugh
Our biggest streak vs. Miami was from 87-89 when we beat them 6 in a row.
Golden Era: From 1987 thru the playoffs in 1995 we went a very impressive 17-4 vs. Miami! Go Bills!
Before last year's awful 0-6 division run, we had won 4 in a row vs. Miami and 9 of the last 12.
Jets
The only remaining division team that we have an all time winning record against (52-44).
Jets beat us 7 straight between 84-87. Again, terrible years for us.
Our biggest streak and our best streak ever vs. a team in our division was 10 straight wins between 87-92.
Golden Era: From the second game in 87 thru the 97 season, The Bills went an VERY impressive 18-3 vs. the Jets.
Before last year's 0-6 division run, we had won 3 in a row vs. NY and 5 of the last 7.
Colts - Former division opp.
All time, 34-30-1 Bills
Colts have currently beat us 6 straight times.
Our biggest streak vs. the Colts was 6 from 89-92.
Golden Era: From the second game in 87 thru the 98 season, The Bills went 18-6 vs. the Colts.
Best current win streak is 9 in a row vs. the Bengals. They haven't beaten us since the 1988 Championship game.Resign our own guys!
