From WalterFootball.com:
http://www.walterfootball.com/college/TexasTech_logo.gif Brandon Carter, Texas Tech
Height: 6-7. Weight: 360.
Projected 40 Time: 5.52.
Projected Round (2009): 4-5.
2/10/09: If you've watched any Texas Tech games, he's the crazy guy with paint all over his face who looks like he just escaped from the mental hospital. Brandon Carter was an All-Big XII second-teamer.

7/28/08: And you thought John Jerry was huge... Brandon Carter eats defensive linemen for dinner and tops it off with a few safeties for dessert. In all seriousness, the monstrous Carter started 13 games in 2007, though it's popular belief that he threatened to eat the entire coaching staff if they put him on the bench.

With that 40 time, he's probably not going to give you a lot in the way of movement. He's not going to be a pulling guard in the NFL. He's more of what you'd call a road grader.

If even that, the knock on him right now is his ability to even get to the 2nd level. Texas Tech doesnt require the OL to block for very long at all, so its a question that probably has some validity. On the positive side though he sounds like one mean s.o.b.

Question for you guys.

Do you think talk about prospects should stay in these threads? Or should I close them and ask for talk to go out on to the main Scouting Zone area?

I can see it both ways.

I would like to keep these clean and concise, but I also think the discussion adds value to the threads as well.

What do you guys think?
