This is going to be a nasty division. I hope the Bills stay low key and let everyone else do the talking. We can pop them in the mouth week 1.

Amen. Let's not get involved in all that Moss/Porter stuff. We really haven't had enough success recently to talk trash, anyway.

Glad they learned their lesson after the way Donte embarrassed them last year.

Donte just embarrassed himself. Their play did the rest.

For a team with so many deficiencies 7-9 was an achievement.

And Donte didn't go on a Moss or Porter egotistical trash talking binge. He simply showed some confidence, which is really a good thing.

There are no guarantees in sports. Making a guarantee is arrogant, not confident.

I don't know why some of you insist the only way to be confident is to make an asinine guarantee that did nothing but embarrass himself and his teammates.

I think Donte's play speaks for itself...

I really doubt that anyone was embarrassed.

I really doubt that anyone cared at all.

many people on this message board cared- there are several pages worth of posts to prove it.

And pretty much every major Buffalo media outlet cared enough to report it.

oh and one more thing.... if Vince Wilfork had guaranteed playoffs last August before the Pats missed the playoffs, would anyone be saying it's just "confidence" in his team? Would be be saying no one was embarrassed now, or would we be pointing and laughing at him?

I love what Channing Crowder said about Rex Ryan:

I've never played a football game in June in my whole life. So congratulations to him. He's the OTA, the OTA Super Bowl winner.

Haha, priceless.

They report everything, and I think you cared about it more than anyone else.

These stupid "predictions" are silly.

A dumb thing to say that I doubt got much play outside of Buffalo or this site.

anyone else find it hilarious when they include tweets in these?

A tweet from New York Jets (http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/clubhouse?team=nyj) safety Kerry Rhodes (http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/players/profile?playerId=8537): "we will b the best defense in the league this year!!! i feel for the offenses we are gonna face."

It'll be funny if those 3 teams don't make the playoffs and we do.
