enter OP... "No way the fans are 4th. we've been losing for a decade. its impossible to add good fans while a team is losing. We lost Tim Russert, and HH and added who I ask? Keep staying in your own little world where things are good. This is not fact and cannot be proven."

actually, I think the Bills have some of the best fans in the NFL. They line up at 5 pm on FRIDAY to tailgate in the camper lot for 1 pm games. People who don't have campers line up on the side of the road and pre-tailgate at 6 am before the tailgating lots officially open at 9 am. The stadium is out of date, which is fine by me because it means the real fans can afford the close seats, and the game itself is the draw. People show up in all kinds of crazy weather in what's probably the 2nd or 3rd worst weather city in the NFL (Green Bay, arguably Chicago or Cleveland), even when the team sucks. The fans are smart enough to go crazy on D and stay quiet on O.

I live in Alexandria, VA and I see someone either wearing Bills stuff or with Bills stuff on their car several times a week, and it's always different people/cars. The only other non-local teams I see that get that much support are the Giants, Dallas and GB, maybe Chicago. And the Steelers, but only when they are winning.

Most of all, people continue to buy tickets and merch to a team that continuously kicks us in the teeth as a thank-you for all the support.

Best fans in the NFL? That's a tough sell because other cities like Green Bay have some pretty crazy fans, and Cleveland kept their fans despite several years without a team. But we do have some damn good fans. There are at least 20 teams that don't even belong in the discussion.

If there's a problem with Buffalo fans, it's that we're TOO loyal. We stand by even when the team sucks, which kills ownerships motivation to invest in a better product. The problem with this team has NEVER been the fans. It's always been ownership and the FO.
