Re: T.O already making an impact
Let’s be honest, TO equals touchdowns and big plays when we need them. We need both this year to get past 7-9. If he shows up each Sunday like he has historically with every team he has ever played for in the past we instantly benefit as a team. Everyone should be able to make an impact and major contributions this season. I like players who produce and can make the team as a whole better. That means guys like Owens, 85, R. Moss, B. Marshall, J. Porter, P. Rivers, J. Cutler, Osi Umenyiora, Bart Scott, C. Portis, and that’s just a few. I would like to have on the roster for one reason and one reason only, PRODUCTION. This is not a child’s sandbox... As men they should be able to shrug off game time confrontation. Production is not and excuse. Everyone should conduct themselves in a professional manner, but and yes here’s the but, sometimes you get the best with the worst and it boils down to how the team mates and coaching staff reacts to it. One never knows... Look what took place in New England. Moss ended up being the ideal team mate. I think T.O. knows what is on the line and he will make good on the opportunity given.
Let's see what happens....@Hemlepp53

Agreed. He brings Swagger to the locker room and if both sides of the ball can benifit from his presence on the pratice field and during game play it is a win win. Its one year... Lets roll with it....@Hemlepp53

I'm hoping that because we have so many weapons that it will allow us to free up Langston Walker and utilize him when we start running the fumblerooskie (spelling?) Or maybe some variation of the muddle huddle could be just what we need...

Re: T.O already making an impact
The Bills will focus on getting the most out of Owens. He's going to get the ball in Buffalo a lot more than he saw it in Dallas last year.
If the Bills have success early with an Evans - Owens tandem, Owens presence alone will be enough to keep opposing secondaries honest. And that should not only open up the 1-2-3 with Lynch, Jackson, Rhodes, but buy our rookie line and Trent Edwards some significant time.
I'm excited for the new season. Anything is possible.Last edited by ChristopherWalken; 06-17-2009, 07:07 AM.

But who could have known it would be THIS bad?
