INDIANAPOLIS (May 19, 2003 5:01 p.m. EDT) - No wonder Edgerrin James is sporting a big gold-toothed grin these days.
A year ago, he thought he had recovered from a serious knee injury, but a difficult and unproductive season with the Indianapolis Colts showed he was wrong.
Now, after months more rest and rehabilitation, he is convinced he's ready to return to the form that made him a two-time NFL rushing champion.
"It's totally different," he said Monday after the first workout of a three-week summer camp.
"Last year, you think you're getting better, and it feels like it's getting better, because you know where you came from, where you can't walk and you can hardly stand up. Now, it's like I really didn't feel that good last year." ...
