Calgary squad signs ex-NFL receiver Albert Connell
CALGARY, Alberta (May 19, 2003 2:03 p.m. EDT) - Former NFL wide receiver Albert Connell signed with the Calgary Stampeders on Monday.
Connell was cut by New Orleans last December after being accused of stealing $4,363 last year from teammate Deuce McAllister. The charges later were dropped when Connell returned the money and McAllister told authorities that he would not press charges....
