    Bills May Consider Boss Bailey

Bills | May consider B. Bailey when healthy
    Wed, 17 Jun 2009 15:06:09 -0700

Mark Gaughan, of The Buffalo News, reports the Buffalo Bills may consider unrestricted free-agent LB Boss Bailey (Broncos) if he regains full health by August depending on how the team's linebackers do during training camp.

Ellison sucks so competition is good, but I'm not sure Bailey is much better, especially with an injury.

Bailey, if healthy, is an upgrade over Ellison...

He'll never be completely healthy, but I mean how could competition hurt...

Great competition, upgrade (healthy) over Ellison, but still no Bowen or Harris in terms of skill and prospect. I'd take him for a one year deal, pull a Gaines on him, much like Schouman did for him, Harris and Bowen can thrive off of Bailey, but doubt it happens.

Injury plagued, marginally talented and mediocre at best. He'll be just another media whipping post. If we sign him, its just more proof of the front offices commitment to mediocrity.

Of all the decent, healthy LBs that have passed through OBD, why are we so interested in a fairly mediocre guy who is injured, to boot.
Should have known, way back in 1960 when we drafted Richie Lucas Number 1, that this would be a long, hard ride. But who could have known it would be THIS bad?

No thanks. This guy is on the same level as Ellison and he's never healthy. I'd pass seven days a week.

My 4 year old daughter is an upgrade over Ellison, so that is not saying much. Ellison is plain horrible.

When he was on the Lions, I played a magical season with them on Madden where he racked up a staggering 30+ sacks, so I've always had a soft spot for him.

Hell, we should definitely pick him up then.
