Sign Cammalleri (sp?) while unloading players like Spacek, Moore, Max, Numminen and Peters. I have faith in our young defensive corps. The kids play harder anyway.

Not sure how much cap space we have so maybe someone could clear that up for meh :list:

Camelleri is solid but just a slightly larger Roy.

Darcy has a history of signing big name FAs on the first day...oh wait. It's never happened.

But at least Darcy has signed several valuable FAs in each of the last few off seasons...oh wait. That hasn't happened either.

Tommy G is too busy trying to buy the state senate to spend money on the Sabres.

The Sabres refuse to overpay for star players early in FA so instead they pay just the right price for role players later in FA that ensure 10th place finishes.

Don't expect much from the Sabres. Maybe a minor FA next week after the smoke clears. Or a minor trade.

It's hard to be excited about this team's future.
