If Darcy had signed him for 3.5 million per for 3 seasons we would all be going nuts.

Honestly, I couldn't give a s**t about this signing. I would, however, like to see this organization actually change the dynamic of this roster, but we all know they're too stubborn to do so.

Half of their team were FA's, so they had plenty of money to spend. Now, I'm not sure how they're signing all of these big contracts, but hey, it definitely is causing a buzz.

Molson reached a deal to repurchase the Canadiens from Gillet back in June, but the sale is waiting approval by the NHL board of Governors which will be voted on in Aug.
