Every year there are some surprise talents that emerge at Bills training camp. Some come out of nowhere to land a spot on the 53-man roster, while others catapult themselves into a starting role when their chances of doing so appeared slim to none. It is part of what makes training camp interesting as it changes the look of a team, often for the better.

Palmer and Lankster I've heard before, but not Ellis or Smith. I wouldn't be shocked if McCargo doesn't make it but I think he will.

Palmer and Lankster I've heard before, but not Ellis or Smith. I wouldn't be shocked if McCargo doesn't make it but I think he will.Can't put much stock in your McCargo views given your lack of awareness concerning Ellis.

HH and OP will of course tell us that we shouldn't dare have any optimism concerning any player growth in contribution.

I think Reed in his natural sopt will put up some surprising numbers. I don't know if that counts though.

Also I wouldn't be surprised if we cut McIntyre.
