Seeing as how both Ron Brace and Darius Butler were signed by the Pats already Byrd who was picked right after both of them should have parameters with which to sign his deal. Especially since Butler is a DB as well.

He can use all of the training camp he can get, given his probable shift to FS, and his having missed the OTAs.Should have known, way back in 1960 when we drafted Richie Lucas Number 1, that this would be a long, hard ride. But who could have known it would be THIS bad?

Everette Brown is now signed, picked right after Byrd, so it ought to get done.
Alex Mack has signed so Wood should have the parameters he needs.
