All: The new Billszone site with the updated software is scheduled to be turned on Tuesday, May 21, 2024. The company that built it, Dynascale, estimates a FOUR HOUR shut down, from 8pm Pacific, (5pm Eastern) while they get it up and running. Nobody will be able to post in any forum until they are done. Afterwards, you may need to do a web search for the site, as old links will not work, because the site is getting a new IP address. Please be patient. If there are bugs, we will tackle them one at a time. Remember the goal is to be up and running with no glitches by camp. Doing this now assures us of that, because it gives us all summer to get our ducks in a row. Thank you!
"(WCCO-TV) The Minnesota State Patrol is investigating an incident in which shots were fired at Minnesota Vikings' running back Michael Bennett. Police say he was targeted after leaving a nightclub in St. Paul..."
Several gunshots were fired at a vehicle driven by Minnesota Vikings running back Michael Bennett last week, hitting it three times.
He wasn't injured, and no arrests have been made.
The shots were fired in St. Paul and Minneapolis shortly after some Vikings players had gathered at a St. Paul nightclub May 11, apparently to celebrate quarterback Daunte Culpepper's new contract extension. The players were involved in an argument with other customers later in the club's parking lot.
Bennett gave his account of what happened to a State Patrol officer sometime later, Kevin Smith said Tuesday. He is a spokesman for the state Department of Public Safety.
He told the officer that at least one shot was fired from a dark green Dodge Intrepid carrying four men. The shot came as he drove his Hummer on Rice Street in St. Paul, Smith said
