All: The new Billszone site with the updated software is scheduled to be turned on Tuesday, May 21, 2024. The company that built it, Dynascale, estimates a FOUR HOUR shut down, from 8pm Pacific, (5pm Eastern) while they get it up and running. Nobody will be able to post in any forum until they are done. Afterwards, you may need to do a web search for the site, as old links will not work, because the site is getting a new IP address. Please be patient. If there are bugs, we will tackle them one at a time. Remember the goal is to be up and running with no glitches by camp. Doing this now assures us of that, because it gives us all summer to get our ducks in a row. Thank you!

Schobel eager for return to Buffalo Bills
The simple answer to the question of why Buffalo's pass rush was so anemic in 2008 is that Aaron Schobel missed the final 11 games of the season with a foot injury.

Schobel often doesn't get enough credit for his run defense, and it was apparent once he was sidelined. The Bills gave up 114.2 yards per game on the ground with Schobel on the field, and 125 yards when he was out.
Like him or not, it's apparent what he brings to this defense. If he's not healthy, it would be a huge shot to a successful season for this defense.
If Schobel returns to form, and Maybin can give us some QB pressure on a situational basis, our D will be miles ahead of last year.
Should have known, way back in 1960 when we drafted Richie Lucas Number 1, that this would be a long, hard ride. But who could have known it would be THIS bad?

That's what I live for... a dominate defense in Buffalo. Those two things happen, our secondary will more chances to make plays and we'll be able to use our wrecking ball (MLB) at will.
