    Edwards prepared for long haul

    Edwards prepared for long haul
At the close of his rookie season, the wear and tear of his first NFL season left him bruised, battered and 10 pounds lighter than he had been when he started the year. A rigorous offseason training regimen prior to the 2008 season led to the addition of 12 pounds of lean muscle to his upper body helping him withstand some of the punishment that quarterbacks typically take in a 16-game schedule.

That training regimen should really help Edwards avoid injury and withstand the rigors of a long, tough season. The best offseason activity for his welfare, however, will be the Bills effort to improve the 0-Line in front of him.
Should have known, way back in 1960 when we drafted Richie Lucas Number 1, that this would be a long, hard ride. But who could have known it would be THIS bad?

Kudos to Trent for reaching out to Brees to try and help his durability.

Concerning improving his core strength... I even noticed from the practice vids I watched, Trent seems to be getting the ball out with a lot less effort than usual especially on the deep ball.
