Apparently on Wood's Facebook page he said he's signed. Get to camp, rookie!

Its true. Wood signed. It's what we needed. Don't know what man that could live without Wood.

ESPN reporting Wood signs. Sounds like he will be at tomorrow's practice.

If Byrd signs, let Erik Flowers hold out, we'll have all the pieces in place.

Wood is only the 5th of 32 1st rounders to sign. The other 4 are QB's Matt Stafford (Lions) and Mark Sanchez (Jets), C Alex Mack (Browns), and DL Ziggy Hood (Steelers). It's amazing that 27 1st rounders still remained unsigned at this time.

Profootballtalk.com disputes an NFL Network report that the Bills have already agreed to terms with No. 28 overall Eric Wood.

It's a five-year deal; we just don't know when it'll be finalized. The Bills also have their initial first-round pick, Aaron Maybin, to bring under contract.

Sweet. But I don't care if Maybin signs soon, he doesn't have the opportunity to start.

Yeah, not being a starter softens the blow. But he still needs all the camp work he can get.

Good news. Now that the entire line is in camp they need to start showing they can work as a unit.

Per John Wawrow, Wood will probably be in camp tomorrow (arrrgggghhhh!) and Byrd should be signing "soon." Just get into GD camp already, rookies!

I wonder what happened. I thought I saw a report that he was staying near camp, so he could be there as soon as he was signed.

Does anybody else here this sound getting louder and louder....

Goes something like "Tick, Tock, Tick, Tock?"

These holdouts are ridiculous...

The early camp is as much an issue as anything.

Not saying its not, but to me since we get extra practices and an extra pre-season game its even more of a reason to have these guys in here earlier.

Now we dont know who the hold up is on, but for the sake of our team this year and cosnidering that Wood, Byrd, and Maybin are all expected to contribute (potentially all start) they need to be here. 6 practices missed is not good for the learning curve.

It may be next week (hopefully this weekend) before Byrd even signs and then Maybin hopefully before the 1st Preseason game?? Maybe...

Brandon added that a tentative deal has been negotiated with Wood, but the offensive lineman's agent is reviewing the contract language. If all goes well, Brandon expected Wood to start practicing with the team Thursday.

I wish they would of reported that the deal was only tentative last night. I expected Wood to be out there for this afternoon's practice session that starts in less than an hour. For a guy moving a position (like Levitre) every snap is vital.
