All: The new Billszone site with the updated software is scheduled to be turned on Tuesday, May 21, 2024. The company that built it, Dynascale, estimates a FOUR HOUR shut down, from 8pm Pacific, (5pm Eastern) while they get it up and running. Nobody will be able to post in any forum until they are done. Afterwards, you may need to do a web search for the site, as old links will not work, because the site is getting a new IP address. Please be patient. If there are bugs, we will tackle them one at a time. Remember the goal is to be up and running with no glitches by camp. Doing this now assures us of that, because it gives us all summer to get our ducks in a row. Thank you!

Although I love his attitude, I really don't feel we are talented enough to match up with the Patriots. Brady will be airing it out like crazy in his first game back.

well said. i think this is the most optimistic i've been for an upcoming season in years. it would be nice to see a couple of breaks to go our way as well.

I am trying like hell. I really am. And I would not be surprised to have renewed optimism after next weekend. For now I am tentative at best.

why is that crazy? he is arguably one of, if not the best receiver in the league since Jerry Rice retired. The man is in unbelievable shape, is focused, and has done nothing except rack up TD's, yards and receptions for every team he has been on.
He has never really played for a coach that understands what HE brings to the team. I think Jauron and company are wishy washy enough to let a lot of his antic go, or ignore them. And that maybe the best move of all. Every other team/coach has tried to silence him, but the Bills won't.
Even Trent Edwards has dismissed the questions about T.O.'s character. Its a non-issue for the entire team, therefore it will be a non-issue this season.
So if you remove the media-driven criticism of Owens, you are left with a Hall of Fame receiver who is focused on one thing, championships.

Guys like Bill Parcells and Andy Reid don't know how to deal with a player like Owens in the same way that Dick Jauron does.
Of course, they do know a lot about how to win games. Jauron still has to show he knows about that.
