It's an interesting possibility, but I wouldn't be surprised to see Carolina simply look for players cut from other teams close to the season.

I honestly think the coaches want to give McCargo one more chance.

No thank you. We need a decent 4th DT to keep this rotation fresh. If McCargo is really going to step it up this season, our guys won't be burned by RB's in the 4th qrtr like last year.

if we were a stocked team, i'd make the trade. however, like someone else said, mccargo seems to be getting one more shot here with the bills. they need him in the rotation. getting a fourth round pick now is useless to us because we'll be short the entire year. if the panthers wanted to recognize that we'd be sacrificing a lot in the terms of depth and they threw a 2nd or 3rd rounder in, or a player where we are short, then i'd be interested.

Teams usually don't trade big bodies, because they are hard to come by.

Also, Carolina needs a NT after losing Maake Kemoeatu for the season. McCargo is more of a penetrating tackle, not a space-eater. Bad fit.

The Bills are better of by keeping McCargo and seeing if he has pulled his head out of his and found a new heart. This year is going to make or break his NFL career. The Bills aren't the only team that is taking notice of a 1st round could-be-bust.

He seems geeked for the new D-line coach so we'll see what happens.

Why not keep him seeing as we need DT talent and a fourth rounder next year isn't worth much at this point and time.
