The Official 2009 Hall of Fame Game Thread!

Again for the 2009 season, a Zone Moderator will create the "official" gameday thread each week. It will be locked until several hours before gametime, and all other gameday threads will be deleted.

The discussion in these threads must be about the Buffalo Bills, and the current game in progress.

Flaming, veiled profanity, passive-aggressive insults, and any other posts not related to football are TOS violations, and will result in disciplinary action, including, but not limited to:
    1. Moving the post to spam.
    2. Verbal Warning.
    3. Banning from the thread.
    4. Points.

The the Official Gameday Thread, and the Buffalo BillsZone itself are for discussion of Buffalo Bills Football only. They will be monitored very thoroughly the entire season, and violators will be dealt with on a case-by-case basis.
Please follow these simple rules, and show respect for your fellow posters, because in the end, we're all Bills fans, and we all want the same thing: A Championship season.

    Thank You and Go Bills!

Re: The Official 2009 Hall of Fame Game Thread!

          My favorite thing about preseason games is to watch the youngsters play in 2nd Quarter and beyond. With that in mind here are the players and numbers of the guys I want to watch on both teams;

          Buffalo:
          67 Andy Levitre OG
          40 Lydell Sargeant CB
          89 Shawn Nelson TE
          70 Eric Wood OG
          64 Ashlee Palmer LB
          46 Ellis Lankster CB
          54 Nic Harris LB
          47 Cary Harris CB
          71 Jermain McGhee DE
          98 Marcus Smith DE
          77 Demetrius Bell OT
          16 Matt Baker QB
          44 Xavier Omon RB
          65 Demetrius Jones DT
          53 Marcus Buggs LB

          Tennessee:
          19 Dominique Edison WR
          94 SenDerrick Marks DT
          89 Jared Cook TE
          51 Gerald McRath LB
          70 Tony Kropog OT
          13 Dudley Guice WR
          21 Javon Ringer RB
          29 Ryan Mouton CB
          61 Fernando Velasco OG
          41 Cary Williams CB

I really like the fact that their youngsters are mainly on offense (Edison, Cook, Kropog, Guice, Ringer, Velasco) and how the majority of ours are on D. Should provide for some really good tape on how our boys look.

Good posting. Great information. Appericate the notes to refer to while watching the game. Thanks Brother.

I am really interested in how our defense and O-line look throughout the entire preseason. If these two units play well this year, we should be playing meaningful ball 16-17 weeks into the season.

I don't think Marcus Smith is playing.

Wow this day is going by so slooooooowwww! I need my football fix. I too am interested in how the O-line looks. Do you think we will see the expected starters in the line up a little longer since its the HOF Game?

Jauron said 2-3 series tops except for Wood and Levitre, they'll get extended time.

I think I will DVR both the game and WEC 42 on VS. I will watch the first half of the game live, then start WEC 42 from the begining, then watch the 2nd half of the game, maybe,
