He will nto be playing football at all this year, and his Rhodes Scholarship ends next year sometime before April. He intends to be in the 2010 NFL Draft, workout and be at the combine by all reports.

Rolle should at least be smart enough to play for Jauron.

What is good about Rolle is because he'll have had a year out, his ranking might drop and we can grab a Day1 starter on Day2 of the draft.

Taylor Mays is Sean Taylor incarnated, I'd definitely be all about drafting that guy.

Taylor Mays is very likely a 1st rounder and most likley a mid to early 1st round pick.

Hes a great prospect, no doubt.

Rolle wil have been completely out of football for a full year, no training, no practice, no film time. He will likely see some drop.

People questioned Cadogan's commitment to football so despite being in a key position of LT and graded by some as being as high as a 2nd rounder he fell all the way out of the draft.

What will teams make of Rolle giving up football for a year?

Different situations though. Rolle is not a commitment question, he received the Rhodes Scholarship which is basically the top academic achievement one can receive while in college and is taking a year to study at Oxford and learn more about neuroscience. The only concern I see about Rolle is that he was still a little raw in some aspect last season and taking a year off hurts him conditioning wise. So that's while Ill likely grade him lower after the midseason rankings.

The day I knock a kid for being too smart, is the day I quit scouting the draft.
