View Full Version : Surprise cuts?

Will there be any surprise cuts this preseason? I can't really think of anyone that may get cut who would be a surprise. I guess Riemersma might be the only one...but I think he'll stick around.

I also think they'll cut C. Johnson and Sammy Morris, although I don't think they are that big of a surprise.

I don't think there will be any surprise. Maybe Rogers, depending on how much trouble he gets into.

I don't think we'll have any real name cuts left.

My cuts:
Leif Larsen
Sheldon Jackson
Erik Flowers
Jeremy McDaniel

Bryson to be traded to a team that incurs an injury at the RB position during training Camp

Johnson won't get cut. We traded for him, and he's still a force on the football field.

I meant Charlie Rogers, duh.

Flowers will get the pre-season and then will be:

cut, waived, and/or released

Riemersma will be traded before released...........that would be a tremendous waste. His deal could be restructure after he joins the new team

what is the differece between being cut, waived or released, cp?

I think Flowers stays.

Larson and Morris (minor surprises) get the axe.

As much as we all hate to believe, Riemersma's departure seems inevitable.

I don't know. I think that if Buffalo really wanted to cut Riemersma they would have done it before the last deadline to save $$ in cap space.

Flowers may stay because the Bills are straped for talented depth at that position.

Rogers is a good canidate once convicted and gets my vote.

Also, nobody mentioned any of the RB's. If Bryson stays, and at this point that seems likely, then most likely both Sammy Morris and Curtis Alexander get the axe. I can live with the Bill's RB's as Henry, Bryson and Huntley :D.

I definitely don't think Riemersma is a goner. He'll be here.

I've been called worse. Even in the last 15 minutes.

They don't need to cut Riemersma to sign there draft picks so unless a big time player suddenly gets cut and becomes available or if Sam Adams, who seems destined for Cinci wants to come to Buffalo, I don't see them cutting him.

I agree with you Don.

There are a lot of DL's in next years draft I say we go with what we've got. How many are going to be available in the Mid to Late second round I don't know.

We are going to make a super bowl run next year.

Unless they can trade him, I think Bryson is gonna get cut. Henry will start, Huntley will back up, and Alexander will be #3. While Bryson has looked good at times in games, the fact he hasn't been a primary carrier since high school has caused him to miss out on developing the running instincts that are necessary to be a dependable RB.
