IMO, the patch size and numbers size is worth the $250+ that you'd save. I wouldn't be caught dead spending $300 or more on a jersey, let alone the damn $80 it costs for a replica that looks like crap after a few washes. It's worth the $30 or $40 you pay for these jerseys and unlike those ugly navy blue fakes that people wear, you can't spot the major differences with these unless you try hard....

Ironic you guys posted this. After months of wondering if I should do it, I ordered an Evans white throwback from EC yesterday. I originally was going to only buy classic players so I don't lose out, but I had to have one of the white throwbacks. I'll let you know if the patch looks good or not whenever the hell I get it.

So for those of you still curious or on the fence about this... I ordered a Thurman Thomas throwback from jersey101.com. They communicated well in terms of issues, payments, shipping, etc. Last Friday, they told me my jersey had shipped and sent me a tracking # that worked for both Hong Kong Post and the USPS. As is typical, the shipping info was so far behind it was worthless, but I don't blame them for that. The jersey arrived today, and while I definitely noticed a few issues that clearly indicate it's a knockoff, you have to pretty much look for them, and they won't be noticed by a casual viewer. That being said, for $39, I'm not complaining, considering the "legit" version of this jersey runs for $300 (http://www.mitchellandness.com/Products/Buffalo-Bills-1994-Dark-Jersey---Thurman-Thomas__7220-216-94THTHO.aspx)

And here's what I noticed:

The patches are up a little higher and out a little wider on the knockoff, which puts them in a bit of an odd spot when wearing the jersey, they aren't as clearly presented as they should be:

The 35th anniversary patch has a clear mistake in it. Instead of 1960, it was sewn to say 1980... the math doesn't quite work out:

The Player ID patch at the bottom is a bit different from the actual Mitchell and Ness one, plus they messed up on the first "f" in Buffalo as you can clearly see:

The letters on the name are a bit thicker and blockier, especially the M:

I ordered a Jim Kelly 1994 super bowl throwback from nfljersey.cc (which they don't seem to have anymore). Everything looks good I very happy with it! The only things that I noticed that might not pass, is where they end a stitch, you can tell, its not quite as neat as the real deal might be. The 35 year patch is correct and the font looks correct.(they spelt Kelly correct) The one thing I noticed right away about BMN's Thurman Thomas jersey is the "4" is wrong.
