    Neil Waived; Eliminian Signed

Sanborn was a top LS for FSU. I had hoped he would emerge as the guy and looks like he did!

Maybe this means that we won't be keeping solely a LS. Sanborn hasnt even gotten much practice time. I'd love to see Wood or Hangartner LS.

Yeah buddy. I called that one!!
I have a question, who has been doing all the long snapping. Is Ryan Neill still handling it everytime? Remember we cut a Pro Bowl snapper, Mike Schneck, for Neill. Neill got the nod in part because he played some DE. We were super thin at the time, and I think there was an injury or two.

Well, dude has gotten zero DE snaps, and is no longer needed in that role. Can someone who has a primary duty take that role? Or, has someone been? I mean, we did add two people with center experience.

        Yes. Cookies please.

edit: OK, I guess I really only called it if they cut Sanborn too.

Have they had any practice time? Can they even do it?

Most teams carry a LS these days with a 53 man roster.

Maybe Peters can be our new long-snapper.

            ...Oh wait.

On the top of Eliminian, he's actually a good pickup imo. I liked him prior to the draft as a UDFA prospect. He's way undersized at about 5'11, 220 but he can move to the ball and is a tackling machine.

I thought he would get drafted, but I imagine he's gone once Thomas and Palmer are healthy. I guess my computer scouting abilities are lacking.
