To many fans of other teams or already talking about this is what you get with T.O!!! I really feel they are just jealous and are haters!! Since when is pre-season important to a 14 year vet??? Bruce fought tooth and nails every year to stay out of much pre season as possible! I am glad T.O is sitting out we know what we get with him I am much more intersested in seeing our younger wide outs getting reps w/ the first team! Haters will always hate!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'd rather see Edwards getting a chance to get used to timing his passes to Owens, getting used to working with both Owens and Evans on the field and developing a relationship with Owens so as they are both on the same page by the time they hit the field against the Patsies.
Owens sitting out a couple of preseason games won't hurt Owens, but it will certainly hurt Edwards.
Of course if the guy's genuinely hurt then there's no point in risking him in a preseason game when there are still two of them left.

none of us know just how serious the toe injury is. for Owens to sit out is just precautionary measures. who's to say that Edwards and Owens aren't working on their timing before or after practices. we don't know that either. i'm not worried. people can ***** and make accusations all they want but TO will be ready when the season starts.Originally posted by yordad
