Did you see the Maybin presser? Still think I dont know what I'm talking about when I said Maybin lost all that mass he gained over a 1.5 month period? Guys looks like a WR now!


I am pretty sure BB06 doesn't know what he is talking about, and if he did see a pic, it was probably an old one.Still feel this way?

We'll basically have a DE that will play around 225-230lbs and get mauled my bigger tackles. Now think more than before than Maybin was on the juice prior to the combine!

no he wasn't IMO, he would have been caught easily... there is no way he could bulk up months before the combine, maintain that bulk through the combine and not get popped.... No way no how...

Whatever he did was not sustainable that much I believe... but its not roids IMHO.


We'll know soon if he has dropped as much weight as you say, but those pictures above are not recent so they are useless...

also I wanted Orakpo because I didn't feel the Bills had the luxury of a DE project, but Maybin only being a Sophmore out of college has a few more years to fill out, and add / maintain weight...

I do feel bad for Maybin in the retrospect that the Bills needed an immediate impact player on the DL and especially DE, but they took a project instead and now with the holdout, Maybin is going to be scrutinized to a level he was never going to be able to live up to to begin with.

That's why I thought the Bills would never take him at 11. I was quite shocked when they did.

Maybin is a hard worker and he has excelled at every opportunity that he's been given. If they want him to play at a certain weight, he'll get there and play at it. It's not a huge concern of mine at this point.
