Maybe it's just me, but he reminds me of London Fletcher. Anyone else think that while watching him last week?

Whenever someone starts a thread with just a name, I want to respond "Is a name."

And... no. I don't understand your point, care to elaborate?

London Fletcher does not pop into my mind when I think of Lankster. What I do see is that Donte Whitner better be better this year.

Were you thinking of Lawyer Milloy? Maybe.

You might as well say he reminds you of Elsa Lanchester from Bride of Frankenstein

Sadly, he played like her tonight...he didn't have a good night.

Fletcher is/was MLB. Lankster is CB. Where the hell are you getting these comparisons?

Who did?
Corner, Stupar, Copeland Bryan (fantastic), Ellis (except for his penalty), Harris and maybe Omon also...

Copeland Bryan should get the ball of the game. He singlehandedly made GB go 3 and out all by himself!!!

He did? I saw Nic Harris make two of the tackles in that 3 and out.

We must clearly be talking about 2 different drives...

But to be fair, it was not single handed. McCargo played a big part in two of Bryan's plays on that drive.

But the one Mystic is talking about started with Bryan tipping the ball when it almost fell into McCargo's hands.

really? http://www.buffalobills.com/team/roster/Ellis-Lankster/885b1ddd-bf39-4d02-80b8-e34032fb3dd7 maybe they moved him to that position?

No, Fletcher is the one I meant. I was thinking back to when I went to the Giants stadium and watched them play the Jets. Fletcher kept coming out of nowhere, and Lankster kept doing the same thing in the Chicago game. I guess I was the only one who noticed this. :idunno:

Well that says he's a DB, which could mean either FS, SS or CB. All of those positions are considered DB's. However, Fletcher STILL played LB and had a completely different role than any of those positions.

and there IS a difference between a CB and a DB, is there not?

Every time I come here everyone seems like they're on the rag. I don't understand it. We are all Bills fans, aren't we? I'm not calling you out, OpIv, I'm just saying. And it's not just in this forum, either, it's all over this board. It makes me sad. :(

a CB is a type of DB. So, he could be listed as a DB and mostly playing CB. Either way, he's definitely not LB.

And defenders are SUPPOSED to come out of nowhere and make plays. When Fletcher was on our D and the D was actually good, we had at least 5 guys who did that consistently.

another thread about a guy who won't get a sniff of the final 53?
