"National Football League fans are committed to attending, watching and following their favorite organizations throughout the course of an NFL season, in the stadium, in the parking lot, in retail stores and in most of their personal lives. Fans expect to be able to enjoy the experience in a reasonable fashion. For doing so, organizations are required to refrain from the following behaviors:

» Missing the playoffs for over a decade

» Ineptness or other signs of impairment that result in loss after loss after loss, season after season after season.

» Foul, abusive or obscene play.

» Interference with the progress of your fans lives (including wasting hours each week watching your ineptness).

» Failing to obtain even average personnel (including coaches, scouts and General Managers).

» Mental or physical harassment to their fans.

"Organizations are responsible for their conduct at home, away and neutral site games including players, coaches and team management. Stadiums will promptly be emptied to object to an environment where organizations, their players, and coaches exhibit the above behavior. Organizations who violate these provisions will be subject to fans abandoning your terrible organization and the loss of ticket purchases for future games."

I'm in favor of it. Too bad there are no mechanisms for enforcing a code of conduct on the organization like there are for enforcing conduct for players and fans.

Well the city could put together a grassroots campaign and tell the ownership, we are not supporting your ass anymore until you make some changes...
