All: The new Billszone site with the updated software is scheduled to be turned on Tuesday, May 21, 2024. The company that built it, Dynascale, estimates a FOUR HOUR shut down, from 8pm Pacific, (5pm Eastern) while they get it up and running. Nobody will be able to post in any forum until they are done. Afterwards, you may need to do a web search for the site, as old links will not work, because the site is getting a new IP address. Please be patient. If there are bugs, we will tackle them one at a time. Remember the goal is to be up and running with no glitches by camp. Doing this now assures us of that, because it gives us all summer to get our ducks in a row. Thank you!
Bills fans are a bipolar bunch. The world is either peaceful and right, or the sky is falling and the dead are piling in the streets. Our moods, demeanor, reactions and thoughts revolve around how the Bills do that week.
Its ok. I wont try to convince anyone the Bills are fine. Because they were awful last night. Im just focused on next week. That will really test us as a team. In the NFL you need to have a short memory, and John Murphy said last night that the first team defense was hanging their heads and dragging their feet. They need to bounce back and have a good game next week and carry that on into the reg season. as does the offense. Whats in the past is in the past. We learn from it, then move forward.
The beginning of the end was the FA period, which was terrible with the exception of TO. The season ended during the draft, when it became quite apparent that the 2009 Bills look like the 2008 Bills with a less experienced OL.
It's the teams job to determine if a player is a risk. The Bills obvioulsy did their homework on Crowell. Nobody on this site has access to his medical records so the assumption is that the FO had a hard on for him after the way he left last season.
The bigger problem is that the Bills signed no one to replace him.
