Just Another We Suck Thread

A couple days to sleep on it. Review of the game and comments. Finding it impossible to dig deep for some optimism. Our OLine has rookies on it...at least one of them will go bust. The whole defensive scheme sucks...we don't have the players for it.

Finally, TE needs to be better. He can make some strides and that will be our only chance. But I fear it's on to another QB yet again. TE has been given his chance the time is now.

After watching the game I'd say that I'm not ready to throw the team under the bus yet.

It was an awful game, but still a pre-season game none the less.

If the Bills come out next weekend looking awful than I'll be right behind you.

see all the same problems they have had since 2006. So what would leave me to believe it will be different?

No pass rush
can't score in the red zone
turnovers
no run game
weak interior line play
15 yd cushion on D
DE's covering wr and running backs
DE's dropping in coverage.
A wide open middle of the field on D
Terrible LB coverage
The same useless wreckless abandoned blitz up the middle
Stupid timeouts
inept play against 3-4 Defenses
DE's horrifically biting on end arounds and reverses and bootlegs

the same thing since 2006!!!!!! The same effing thing!!!!!

so that leads me to predict the same damn effing record since 2006....7 and freaking 9!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The thing that is most disturbing is that Schonert, TE, and the offense still seem to be baffled by the 3-4 defense. That is not good considering every team in our division uses it except us. I'm not overly confident in TE either. He is a perfect Jauron QB, over conservative which won't get the job done. The defense is supposed to be a zone type defense predicated on not giving up the big play but we still seem to give up HUGE chunks of yardage when it matters the most, especially on third down. This is also very disturbing, preseason or not. Until we get another coaching regime in here with some balls and some winning schemes this team will continue to spin its wheels in my estmation.

I've given DJ the benefit of the doubt long enough. The talent has gotten better but it's still not good enough. This is our window of opportunity for the next two years and again we are going to have to bag the coaching staff and start over again.
