All: The new Billszone site with the updated software is scheduled to be turned on Tuesday, May 21, 2024. The company that built it, Dynascale, estimates a FOUR HOUR shut down, from 8pm Pacific, (5pm Eastern) while they get it up and running. Nobody will be able to post in any forum until they are done. Afterwards, you may need to do a web search for the site, as old links will not work, because the site is getting a new IP address. Please be patient. If there are bugs, we will tackle them one at a time. Remember the goal is to be up and running with no glitches by camp. Doing this now assures us of that, because it gives us all summer to get our ducks in a row. Thank you!
There is work to be done and things to be learned. We are going to try to get the old look back - or something close to it. We also know there are bugs. A thread will be started to report bugs and then we can pass those onto the host.
Thank you for all the patience and support with this - hopefully this will greatly reduce the crashes and other site issues we have had lately.
Please use this thread to report any issues you come across

Did Dick Jauron call out Trent Edwards?
Buffalo Bills head coach Dick Jauron has arguably the single most tenuous hold on a head coaching job in the NFL as the league stands today. Though he was retained last winter after three consecutive 7-9 seasons in Buffalo, Jauron was close to getting fired last December.

Hopefully this is a good thing and it actually lights a fire under Trent's ass. Then when Jauron makes some weak, timid call at the end of a game or halftime, Trent can call Jauron's ass out. Then in another year, we'll have a QB that isn't timid and a different coach.
I think TE called out the coaching staff too. It really concerns me that these guys aren't on the same page and things are already deteriorating. It's going to be a long season.
I don't have any problem with Trent being called out. We've been saying the same thing. This dink and dunk afraid to throw anything over 10yds has got to stop. However, Dick should look in the mirror before calling anyone timid.
Whether or not Dick Jauron is Casper Milktoast in the flesh, he has a perfect right and responsibility to try and light a fire under a too timid QB. Trent was guilty of both problems Saturday night. He was timid and didn't take good care of the ball. If you are one or the other, it's not very good. If you're both you aren't going to win the game period.
I've made up my mind. Don't confuse me with the facts.
I'm the most reasonable poster here. If you don't agree, I'll be forced to have a hissy fit.

if Jauron said it with any conviction, it might light a fire under Trent's ass. But he didn't. "you know, um, he can't be so, like, timid, ya know?" No one wants Tom Coughlin but it would be nice if Jauron acted like he gave a damn on occasion.
I will admit that this is a step in the right direction for Jauron, but he has a long way to go.
