It still doesn't save us from the Brady lovefest on MNF in two weeks. "Tom Brady is such a warrior... mmm.. yeah.. mmm Tom Brady.. an American hero blah blah blah Tom Brady." Like a broken record.

          Re: Bruschi RETIRING!!

I think Tedy realized he was in danger of being cut. He doesn't run like he used to and was a liability defending the pass. When he was on the field teams would throw to his man, like the Redskins did last week on that 73-yard pass play (Cooley was Bruschi's man). Coming into the season he projected as an early-down LB to play the run, but he lost that job to Gary Guyton. Given he couldn't play on passing downs or ST much any more, it left him struggling to find a role. I think he realized there wasn't one for him anymore, and retirement was preferable to being cut.

Don't be surprised if Tedy gets into coaching on some level. It may not happen this year, but he is a natural to coach someday.

I was just thinking the same thing.. he looked really bad in coverage .. i wish he would have been on the opening day roster and we could have picked him apart on Monday night..

Will he rescue a few babies from a burning building during the press conference?

I really think the NFL will fold now. How can any of us go on without our wonderful hero Bruschi being the guiding light in our lives?

I didn't come here to fight, I hate fighting. Life is way too short to spend it on fighting! Go fight with yourself, one of you will eventually win!
