The Buffalo Sabres have announced that they will be hosting an open practice and the Adult Street HockeyFest on Saturday, September 12, as part of “Puck Drop 2009” at HSBC Arena. This day-long event will be an opportunity for fans of all ages to share in the excitement of the first day of training camp with a full day of events, including the opportunity to purchase individual tickets for the new season. Admission and HSBC Arena ramp parking are both free.

Fans will also be able to purchase Mini-Packs, including five new options. In addition to the ability for fans to create their own personalized mini-pack by choosing anywhere from 5 to 40 games, the team has also created new pre-packaged mini-packs. The packages will consist of a minimum of five games. These packages will range from select opponents (Original Six-Pack) and specific days-of-the-week (Friday Pack, Weekend Pack) or variable pricing (Premium Pack, Sampler Pack). The pre-packaged mini-packs also include a 15% Sabrebuck rebate, which can be used towards the purchase of team merchandise at the Sabres Store, HSBC Arena concession items and tickets purchased at HSBC Arena. Mini-pack holders that select games ala carte will receive a 5% Sabrebuck rebate. All Mini-pack holders will receive a $2.00 savings per ticket off of window prices, will not pay a ticket service charge and have the ability to purchase playoff tickets before they go on-sale to the general public.
