    Cut Reed

...and if Roscoe can be dealt, move him as well.

He can't beat a press(too weak) and paid too much for a return guy.
    Johnson needs to play.

Cutting Reed would not be a smart move.

I agree that Johnson should be starting in front of Reed, but I wouldn't cut him. The coaching staff making the right decision on who should start would satisfy me.

Cut our most reliable 3rd down receiver? Ick!!! Even in a trade, we would not likely get equal value.
This thread is almost spam material.

                  Re: Cut Reed

Reed's 50 catches in 2007 and 2008 begs to differ....

and he was injured some last year

How many teams have a #3 WR that can do that ???

I do agree Johnson deserves more playing time, but Reed is a seasoned vet who we all know blocks well as a WR and is a dependable outlet for Trent. Reed was a chain mover last year....

Nope cutting Reed would be another blunder...

                      Re: Cut Reed

Reed can still be a great safety valve on a 4 WR spread on 3rd down.

I do wish to see Steve Johnson get more reps, since he'll probably replace Owens after he leaves this winter.

Reed is probably one of our better run blocking recievers as well, he has no reservations about mixing it up with DBs.

                              LMAO

You do realize when Evans and TO are on the field at the same time Reed is going to be more open then ever !!

and again the guy mnade over 50 catches last year in 13 games. He got open

he is no all pro but reed deserves a roster spot, and he blocks
