    John Murphy Interview with Schonert

Not sure if anyone caught this on the news last night in Buffalo, but John Murphy spoke with Turk by phone and quoted him saying....

"He told me the offense wasn't simple enough for him, we had too many formations, too many plays... I didn't simplify to his liking. He wants a Pop Warner offense. He limited me in formations, limited plays... he's been on my back all offseason"
    Draft Gabbert at #3!

This just shows that Jauron is a key reason why all of the teams that he has coached over the years have had poor offenses. He's just too conservative. Have I ever told you guys that I hate him??? Just checking...

Is this true, very rarely does any coach bad mouth another coach because he might need a job in the future...

I don't think this is true though... i think it's just Schonert shooting his mouth off and deflecting blame.

Why would Jauron turn to the no huddle and being asking for simplification?

When you have a ton of youth and the offense isn't working you seek to make it simple. I'm not surprised by this at all.

Pop Warner* is a legend and a Hall of Famer. Perhaps Turk should have listened.

Besides, the idea is not to have a million plays that you run poorly, but some good, basic plays that you execute well.

Should have known, way back in 1960 when we drafted Richie Lucas Number 1, that this would be a long, hard ride. But who could have known it would be THIS bad?

Schonert is an idiot so I'm glad he's gone. Just great that it took Jauron 8 months to figure it out. If you are fighting about the system in February maybe you make a change than.

Yes, learn how to run some plays well, and then work from there.

                      Schonert is a douche tool.

Even a Pop Warner offense can be successful if you can execute. You dont need a NASA built offense, you just need to execute.

Probably because Jauron is ineffective and indecisive?

This lowly cart.... it hits harder and has a higher yards
per play average than the Bills' offense!
