i would take this guy in a heartbeat. he is a good safety. he will grab a couple pick, but he is versatility to lay a hit down, or rush the passer.

he was also a good player for the ravens when they won the superbowl. so you know adams and gash will push for him.

lets hope that sehorn looks good at safety... PLEASE!

To be honest, I don't know enough about the guy. Is he losing his job to Seahorn because he's to expensive for the Rams?

His numbers look impressive.

Yeah well Kim is a Korean last name.

It's not like they have a choice.

And I'm not Korean.

At least Asians don't name their sons Stacey, Kim or Shannon.

I wonder if teams sometimes feel they have to make a change just for appearances' sake. Maybe St. Louis' problems on defence weren't really due to Kim Herring, but Sehorn was the guy who was available so they go out and sign him to appease fans. I don't know. I'm just speculating.

herring was a hell of a player for the ravens... you know.. the best defense there ever was.. he signed a pricey deal after that with st. louis. he has played well, but he is not surrounded by the talent there that he was in baltimore..

you add this guy to our defense, and he could be the rock that we have been looking for..

as far as sehorn.. the guy was a good corner.. he blew a knee, and was not a good corner anymore.. and for the huge amount of money he was making, he had to be cut. he is still probably fast enough to be a good free safety.. you guys talk about him like he is trash..

i would LOVE to have herring here.. reese as his backup.. then move PP to back up wire.. i would be so completely content with our entire defense if we made a move to get him.. IF he gets cut.

I would still like a Great DE, and I havent Seen Posey play....But Herring would be a good step to the NFLs top d.

If we go by stats, PP put up more tackles last year, but Herring had 3 INTs...thats something our secondary could use.

it is interesting that there was never any talk about Sehorn round these parts

What does that say about Herring? I'm not sure...

sehorn is risky because it is a position change.. but i doubt anyone would say that he has no chance to be good at free safety.

natrix, we cut kieon carpenter for who? exactly.
