Hands down, it's Chris Ellis.

The decision to not release Denney or Kelsay is going to seriously impede his progress in year two.

The Bills aren't going to keep Denney and Kelsay on the 53-man roster at their price tags, only to have them inactive on game days.

Aaron Maybin is obviously going to dress on Sundays.

The Bills are not going to usually dress five defensive ends on game days. That leaves one end as the odd man out. Guess who that will be?

And what about Denney and Kelsay? You think they're going to pay either of them multi millions to be inactive on game day? I dont see any possible way we dress 5DE, unless we only dressed 3 DT. We're not dressing nine defensive linemen on game days.

Agree with almost all of it.

They have to dress Corto for ST. If they're not, then there was absolutely no reason to not cut him.

I dont think a WR will be an inactive, I think 2 DB's will be however. Jenkins, like Corto made it on Special teams.

Denney and Kelsay have held this team back for a long time. It's not like we'd get 5-6 more wins by upgrading them, but what's the point anymore of keeping them on? We know what they bring, which is NOTHING.

It seems to me that the coaches need to stop worrying about upsetting veterans and start worrying about player development. We could have a decent core of young DE's on the roster in Maybin, Bryan, Ellis...but that's obviously screwed up now.

Man these coaches piss me off sometime. Any real coach would immediately cut Kelsay and Denney. I have no idea how they've kept their jobs for so long.

Jonathan Scott
Gibran Hamdan

Obviously it won't be Palmer and Buggs at the same time... Or Youboty and Florence or Lankster at the same time...

But given the ages of Schobel, Denney and Kelsay... I'd say Ellis' services will be needed on a regular basis.
