Optomist thread alert!!!

When it comes to completetions per $100,000 Trent is the third best in the league completing 33.5 for every $100,000 he was paid. That ranks him just behind MAtt Cassel and Tyler Thigpen.

Trent Edwards of the Buffalo Bills enters the 2009 National Football League season as the league's third-best quarterback in terms of cost-effectiveness.

Tuesday's online edition of Portfolio magazine ranks Edwards behind two Kansas City quarterbacks, Matt Cassel and Tyler Thigpen, in a comparison of on-field performance and salary levels. The study encompasses 36 NFL quarterbacks.

Gotta love that article written by a business magazine, further proof Wilson's running this team like a business ie the bottom line, not like a football team ie to win football games.

So in other words 3 yard passes are more cost efficient? No wonder that is all Trent throws, he is doing his part for the economy!
