Wesley the D-lineman from Miami looked pretty darn good, as did their starting QB, don't remember his name.

I also liked QB Tim Savage out of Rutgers, as I feel he is a nice young prospect for years to come.

I kept my list to only Juniors and Seniors, as they are the only ones applicable to the next draft, but yes all three of them had very good weeks.

        QB- Jarret Brown
        QB- Daryl Clark
        OT- Russell Okung
        OT- Jason Fox
        OT- Anthony Davis
        WR- Dez Bryant
        LB- Sean Lee
        CB- Perish Cox
        DT- Arthur Jones

But the guy that impressed me the most was:

        WR- Eric Decker

Another guy was WR Mike Williams a syracuse WR and Buffalo native son.

After missing a year due to suspension he had a good game v. Minny.

About Cox and Bryant, I like both their plays but the attitude or swagger they displayed in the game was a little disheartening. I have no issue with trash talk but when its every play and takes away from the game, I take issue with it then.

Yeah, Dez Bryant has the Ocho type of swagger that will turn off many teams IMO. Hes a stud, but may be a temperamental pain in the ass too.

Cox is such a great returner, hes the kind of player that could break it at any time.

Re: Week 1 in Review-Who played well, who didnt?

Well, I know you're not counting teams that played against weak teams, but the PSU/Akron game was the only one I saw where I paid attention to specific players, tbh.

I loved Clark in the first half, did not like his play in the second. I find it worrisome that PSU failed to score at all in the second half, especially when they left Clark in for all but 5 minutes of the 4th quarter.

Royster and the OL in general were quite unimpressive.

Jared Odrick was a BEAST. He didn't have any sacks, but on the play where Kevion Latham had a sack I saw him get good pressure. Right off the sack, it looked like he engaged the guard, held him at a distance for a second, then just shoved him away with ease and ran right at the QB. The QB managed to dodge Odrick, but ran right into Latham.

A guy to watch out for in the 2011 draft (I know, still a ways away) is Jack Crawford. The guy made some good plays in the first half of the Akron game (sack, TFL). Sean Lee also looked like he had never had an injury, which was nice to see. It's too bad Bowman pulled himself because of an injury.

Yeah, it was against Akron, but it was good to see them play with how many starters they are replacing (OL, WR, secondary).

Yo EE & DB, enlighten me on the UB Bulls.

Do you like any of them as NFL prospects in next year's draft? I caught part of their opener, the ending was absolutely phenomenal, couldn't ask for a better game.
