Asking this a week ago almost certainly would have painted a different picture in terms of where fans saw the season going. So now that it is the eve of the NFL season, how many wins will the Bills get this year?

yeah, i gave them 5-11 a while ago, but now after this chaos dealt a week before the season, i squarely believe this team will be lucky to win 2 games.

Pats - L

6-10....and this is a pretty pessimistic estimate. I can see us beating Sanchez at least once, and the Texans wont be crap if Schaub gets hurt. However, I dont see us winning any more than 8, as we could def go 0-6 in division and also lose to the Saints. I think we coudl be anywhere from 3 to 8 wins, which is a huge spread but either end of this spectrum is possible.

I dont have money to bet, but if you had to bet on the bills winning 2 games or less, would you? I wouldnt think so, or at least I'd hope not.

and how can we lose to Miami if we beat NO?

Why would you hope for a 7-9 or 8-8 season? Oh but your a "realistic fan" right? Een op deep down doesnt hope for a 7-9 or 8-8 season..well maybe but i hope not.

Looks like the consensus is 6-10. Hard to complain as things stand now....

How would we beat NO if we can't beat NE?

uhh bc I personally think the saints are overrated, are way to soft on both sides of the ball. The pats had a better record than the saints last year, when Brees had arguably one of the top 2 passing performances ever, and the pats had a backup

I dont think these 2 teams even compare, not even close.

1 - Mon, Sep 14 at New England - 7:00 PM L 0-1
2 - Sun, Sep 20 Tampa Bay - 4:05 PM L 0-2
3 - Sun, Sep 27 New Orleans - 4:05 PM L 0-3
4 - Sun, Oct 4 at Miami - 4:05 PM L 0-4
5 - Sun, Oct 11 Cleveland - 1:00 PM W 1-4
6 - Sun, Oct 18 at NY Jets - 4:15 PM L 1-5
7 - Sun, Oct 25 at Carolina - 4:05 PM L 1-6
8 - Sun, Nov 1 Houston - 1:00 PM W 2-6
9 - Bye
10 - Sun, Nov 15 at Tennessee - 1:00 PM L 2-7
11 - Sun, Nov 22 at Jacksonville - 1:00 PM W 3-7
12 - Sun, Nov 29 Miami - 1:00 PM L- 3-8
13 - Thu, Dec 3 NY Jets - 8:20 PM L- 3-9
14 - Sun, Dec 13 at Kansas City - 1:00 PM W 4-9
15 - Sun, Dec 20 New England - 1:00 PM L 4-10
16 - Sun, Dec 27 at Atlanta - 1:00 PM L- 4-11
17 - Sun, Jan 3 Indianapolis - 1:00 PM W- 5-11

There is no way we beat NE in either game. There is no way win a division game in Toronto.

5-11 overall, 0-6 in the division. And this is being optimistic- I gave us a win in Jacksonville on the assumption the team will be deflated due to lack of fan support and a win over Indy on the assumption that either the weather or the need to rest people for the playoffs will give us the edge.

The Bills beat Tampa, the Jets once and Kansas City to go 3-13.

I said 5-11 in the official prediction thing done before preseason...

If that was done now...I would have said 2-14.

And the thing is, if we don't beat Tampa in week 2, we might not win a game period.

Sorry boys.

I hope to be proven wrong and have this thread come up in 6 months and highlight how wrong I was..

But I got us pegged for 4-12

what makes yo that confident we cant beat Cleveland?

I think Cleveland is no better than Tampa.

Did you see last year?

Cleveland is marginally improved and a better coach and Buffalo is marginally worse.

Tampa also has the disarray of a new OC as well as Buffalo right now and talent and coaching wise is a huge step down.

Tampa is the most winnable game on the schedule.

You don't win your most winnable game, you're not going to win many others.

However it takes the stars to align perfectly, like in Detroit, to lose all of them.

The wrong coach was let go last week. Turk is reportedly said that Jauron wants to run the team like a Pop Warner League team.

Jauron's new name....."NO TRICK DICK".

7 & 9 would be lucky to get if things don't change.

This team would be lucky to beat Penn State, UB, Buff State, or Syracuse if they played them, after this past pre-season disaster.

Thanks for answering my question. I disagree about them not being close.

I think the Saints are gonna kick ass this year, and I don't think they're "soft". I think that competition wise, they are just as tough to beat. While it takes a whole team to win, it helps to have an awesome QB like Drew Brees, and a talented coach like Sean Peyton. Not to mention, Williams makes a much better DC than HC.

Right now I don't see us winning that game. If we do, it'll prolly be by 1 point. But I have to see the Bills play 2 games before I cement that opinion.

I'm right there with ya... on the wins and who we beat. I'm tempted to add the Colts since its week 17.
