    Is it possible that Bell blew Walker away through camp?

    I mean lets say you were the coach. And your watching your players.

    Lets say some unproven kid was out playing your experienced, overpaid tackle.

    Marv isn't here anymore, so this franchise currently has no reason to stick with Walker.

    I'm just sayin. Our o line coach had to have something to do with this. Maybe Bell played awesome all camp?

    Just by your guys saying you can't count on a player to be good before he's good, you can't really count on him to be bad before he's bad?

    I think 4/5 linemen are sure to be solid this year. And thinking back on the horrible lines we've gone 7-9 with, I just don't think this one could be worse.

    Think back to 04,05,06,07...Who were our linemen? We went 7-9 with them. The ceiling is super high for Wood and Levitre. Same with Bell. We know that with Butler we at least have a dirty playin' SOB at RT which makes me happy. Hangartner played in a playoff game last year and was a blocker on a line that ran the ball very well, just last season.

    I just don't think its quite as bad as you guys think.

    I think you are right, I think we will struggle early but will right the ship as the line plays together for a month or so.

      By Week 4 we will see a new O Line, not in personal but in game play. They made strides in Pre-Season so I have to assume that growth will continue to grow as the season progresses.

      A LT is not cut without input from the OLine Coach... that would be stupid... I know its Dick but I do not think he wouldnt of been cut if it wasnt for the teams best interest at hand. Bell will fill the void just give the kid time and he will surprise you.

                Hangartner was solid for Carolina last year.

                Wood looks like he will be a stud

                Levitre has the tools and desire to be good, but needs more work

                Bell looked great to me in the preseason. Will that translate to the regular season? Who knows.

                Butler was ok as well.

                        possible, but that doesnt explain why you dont just move Walker back to RT where he was very good last year.

                          He was actually good at LT last year also. I don't understand the move, maybe it has to do with the no-huddle offense.
