All: The new Billszone site with the updated software is scheduled to be turned on Tuesday, May 21, 2024. The company that built it, Dynascale, estimates a FOUR HOUR shut down, from 8pm Pacific, (5pm Eastern) while they get it up and running. Nobody will be able to post in any forum until they are done. Afterwards, you may need to do a web search for the site, as old links will not work, because the site is getting a new IP address. Please be patient. If there are bugs, we will tackle them one at a time. Remember the goal is to be up and running with no glitches by camp. Doing this now assures us of that, because it gives us all summer to get our ducks in a row. Thank you!
whoa... wait a minute. are you saying that it was Schonert's fault that the long ball was not being thrown? according to a lot of people around here, it was Edwards' fault.

Christ, you are the queerest person in the history of Bills fanhood. I swear to god I would stomp you.
a handful of days before the season opener, they tell people they are working on the deep ball?
I just don't get this team at all. if you have shown nothing in the 4 preseason games but dink and dunk, you've fired the OC, got rid of the LT, don't you think that you might want to stay quiet for the last5 days before the season? this way when you play the patriots and go long, they don't see it coming?
The one thing i'm hoping for is that the offense really is humming and they are just smoke and mirrors for this preseason. i know its a long shot, but the fact that they are saying, "yeah, we'll throw long." makes me feel like they really don't have that smoke and mirrors plan.
I have been saying for awhile now that Trent was handled incorrectly. He was not able to play to his ability due to coaching restrictions and their inability to allow him to learn from errors... Throw an INT the OC would call a running play.. Where the OC should of had him air it out next snap to show he is trusted and allow him to maintain confidence.
I like it better when you're writing optimistc threads. Come on, HH, I know you have it in you!!
If the truth is negative so be it. But this is why we are running a no huddle. Schonert may not have been running alot of deep balls because he has no confidence that Trent has the time to throw it. Look at the pick when Owens was dominating out there. Butler gets pushed into Edwards and causes an INT on a pass intended for Evans on a 25 yard route.
Maybe this is also why he was running a complicated offense so he could combat our line weaknesses with some plays that left D off balanced.
I'm not defending Schonert but who really knows. How do I know that Van pelt isn't gonna blow?
