Any situation involving an injury to Fred isn't good but Omon's time is now. He outplayed Rhodes and that's why he's no longer here.

I have faith in Omon in all honesty. He's been a workhorse back before, he is a steady ball carrier and he always falls forward.

I like Omon but I am talking more of an in game perspective. Omon would need a breather. Mcintyre???

Id prefer a more scat back, but if its McIntyre then so be it. Hell we could run the wildcat and put Parrish back there if we wanted to.

If Jackson went down, somebody would be picked up for that role.

Omon could handle the 2 games until Lynch or Jackson was back.

Are we screwed?!?

We have no chance at beating NE. Even if Omon lined up against Tampa we should still win. We have no chance beating New Orleans regardless.

I don't remember the saints to be a dominant team.

I would be more concerned about Edwards getting hurt in the first three games than I would Fred Jackson. Look at our O-line and look at Edwards injury history.

I think that they will sign Rhodes after the first game, for insurance.

That thought has crossed my mind too. Most players enjoy their time here and usually leave on good terms. It has been said Rhodes was gunning after Jackson's spot all along so it's possible they could have left the door open if Rhodes couldn't find what he was looking for.

I do remember the Saints being able to put up 30 points.

If you think we can keep pace with a team that can throw the ball all over the field at will, I don't know what to tell you.

I will tell you that the crowd will play a huge factor in that. We can keep pace. We can beat them at home.

Well that is one of the cornerstones of a no-huddle...
