Our stats (granted that Tom Brady was out last year) are extremely close. This graphic alone makes me much more exited for this game.

kind of annoying that they use the same color for both teams in the chart.

the points per game is inflated from last year's beat down of the chiefs. That statistical breakdown didn't make me feel any better.

say we scored 20 points instead of 54, thats 34 about our season average. that equals ~2 points a game difference. ya, really inflated..

while I didnt find the breakdown to make me feel better either, you're just so negative right now you can make anything into a negative..

and how much worse are we this year?

I may get shredded for this but i expect our line to be better than last year...

lest we forget, Peters gave up double digit sacks last year...Bell can surely match that. Fowler blew chunks. Im sure hangartner can match that.

How much worse can our line get? Other than our line supposedly being worse, we're a better team on paper.

What about that makes you more "excited" for the game? The fact that the Bills on average give up more points per game then they score versus the Pats averaging almost a touchdown more then their opponents? The 60 yards per game the Pats averaged, with Cassell, more per game on offense then the Bills?

There are lots of reasons to be obtimistic, just not sure that is one of them.

Our defense is better than New England's.

Say what you want, but last year the Pats were ahead in EVERY SINGLE one of those stats... every single one

Its not the fact that they were ahead. It's the fact that we are respectably close in all of these stats.

How about wins?

Why do you believe that?

Our O-line has like 50 combined starts, two rookies, and a 2nd year player who has never taken a snap in the NFL. It also includes a new C and our RG being shifted to RT.

Now I will say that I think this O-line unit will come into their own in the coming years, but I think this is going to be one colossal douche of a line, especially in the first half of the season.
