Win and it turns an entire fanbase around and installs some faith and belief. Lose and everybody will continue the call for changes and the demise of this coaching staff. Exactly, Keith... almost. The pattern I've seen is that we usually play them well the first game of the season, be it in Buffalo or NE, but get CREAMED in the rematch.Originally posted by Typ0Comment

You got that right. 2006 we barely lost. (TKO's sack/forced fumble with Londons TD on the first play didn't hurt) Which, when that play happened, I almost hit my head on the ceiling I jumped so high! It was TKO's first game back too. It was nuts.Originally posted by Mad Bomber
Regardless, we always play them tough the first game, and then get smothered in the 2nd. Its a combination of the fact that our seasons usually decline due to injury and lost confidence whereas theirs just tend to pick up steam in general. They've historically played closer games early in the season if I'm not mistaken. I'm not gonna look it up but the only time they came out super hot was the Spygate game at NY.Comment
