I find it funny that all we heard about all year last year how good of a leader he was and this year he isnt a captain. With that said i am not one of those ppl that dont like him i just found it funny and justified because he needs to shut up and make some plays!

I think Captains are usually picked by the players, Maybe he declined the offer so he could focus on some better play on the field.

Then again maybe his teammates are saying shut your yap and produce!

This isn't really the same exact thing. The players voted him a captain last year, but not this year. That is pretty interesting actually.
