All: The new Billszone site with the updated software is scheduled to be turned on Tuesday, May 21, 2024. The company that built it, Dynascale, estimates a FOUR HOUR shut down, from 8pm Pacific, (5pm Eastern) while they get it up and running. Nobody will be able to post in any forum until they are done. Afterwards, you may need to do a web search for the site, as old links will not work, because the site is getting a new IP address. Please be patient. If there are bugs, we will tackle them one at a time. Remember the goal is to be up and running with no glitches by camp. Doing this now assures us of that, because it gives us all summer to get our ducks in a row. Thank you!
There is work to be done and things to be learned. We are going to try to get the old look back - or something close to it. We also know there are bugs. A thread will be started to report bugs and then we can pass those onto the host.
Thank you for all the patience and support with this - hopefully this will greatly reduce the crashes and other site issues we have had lately.
Please use this thread to report any issues you come across

Sad that this thought is even in my head right now but...
Look at these potential head coaching candidates out there:
Billick
Fassel
Cowher
Shanahan
Gruden
Del Rio (he's done if JAX doesn't inspire this year)
Herm Edwards
Mike Smith (49ers)
Jason Garrett
Shottenheimer
Kirk Ferentz
Jim Harbaugh
Where else would you rather be than right here right now?
Billick - Was never a good coach, just rode a great D. Ego maniac.
Fassel - A reason he's in the UFL
Cowher - He'd be perfect, but Ralph would NEVER pay what he will make.
Shanahan - Same as Cowher
Gruden - Too much ego, too few winning teams
Del Rio (he's done if JAX doesn't inspire this year) - There's a reason Jax quit on him.
Herm Edwards - Just a god awful coach. Worse than Jauron.
Mike Smith (49ers) - Who is this? the Falcons head coach?
Jason Garrett - Not leaving Dallas
Shottenheimer - Age a concern but a good possible
Kirk Ferentz - I don't like bringing up college coaches.
Jim Harbaugh - not sold on him either.
3 quality candidates (you forgot Holmgren)... but the problem for all 4 could be Ralph's cheap ways with coaches.
holmgren said that he planned to return to the nfl in 2010. i would love to have him as a gm or coach. he brought two different teams to the superbowl so he obviously knows what hes doing
Only coaches I want in order are Cowher, Shanahan, and Holmgren.
I think Shanahan could do some real damage with his run game in the elements of Buffalo. All three coaches understand the importance of building dominating lines and none of them have a degree from am Ivy league school.
I would love Gruden. I think he is extremely hard working, and demanding of his players. Billick is a good coach, and wouldn't mind him either. Those are our realistic, good choices.
Our un-realistic good choices are Cowher and Shanahan. I would love to have one of these guys, but I'm not holding my breath.
The rest of that list can just be torn apart. But like one said above me, Holmgren would be a good fit as well.
I'm all in on the Shanahan bandwagon, I would love to see him in a Bills shirt on the sideline. He had some great years in Denver and was very dedicated to the city. Buffalo needs this!
I have no arguements to what anyone says on these candidates, I just wanted to see who most of us thought could be a possible and realistic replacement to Skeletor after this train wreck ends in January.
Where else would you rather be than right here right now?
Then I'd list Holmgren. Honestly, if Ralph is saving plenty of money on players contracts then why the heck can't we afford a legitimate replacement with the right formula to get us to the playoffs and beyond? He already tried Donahoe and gave him full authority. I think Ralph is obsessed with creating a diamond out of a terd!
Where else would you rather be than right here right now?
As much as I love to predict players/coaches I think the bills should bring in, I think we should wait for week 3 to figure out if Jauron needs to be canned. Hes on the hot seat, not the on fire seat. Give him a few games then discuss this.

Yes, but hes not going anywhere for the next 2-3 games. Give him a few games for this year before calling for his head. I wanted parrish gone all year and now that the season is starting, im letting him show me that he can do better, if he doesnt show any promise in the next 3 games, then ill want him gone again. I say the same for Jauron. We cant do anything now.
