Buffalo Bills: Five Reasons For Hope

If you’re like the vast majority of Bills fans and media these days, the next four months serve merely as a foregone conclusion. You conclude the Buffalo Bills will be horrendous and prospects of a winning campaign are dreadful. They’re a oblivious organization headed by a meddling 91-year old owner, a master marketer posing as general manager, a dead man walking head coach and a roster riddled with bottom feeder talent.

The team hasn’t made the playoffs this decade, has all of one winning season (9-7 in 2004) during that timeline, and is coming off three consecutive 7-9 seasons.

Inept perception was recently reinforced with the dumping of offensive coordinator Turk Schonert– after the preseason was already over, and the release of starting left tackle Langston Walker just one week before the season opener. Coupled with an excruciatingly painful looking offense the past five weeks, the Bills are surely destined to extend their failing ways.

While odds of extending their playoff-less run and quite possibly a division cellar finish are higher than six months ago, the season is anything but a formality.

There is hope for this season, and here are five of the biggest things Bills faithful can hold their hats on. READ MORE

another decent read.. Pretty much sums up both sides of the Billszone camp. An article that can be appreciated by both the grumpies and the cheerleaders

Good work, Pat! Except for a couple of typos, you hit every point perfectly--especially with regard to the offensive line. I hope a lot of people read it.
Those who do not learn from the past are doomed to repeat it. And, thus it was that they surrendered their freedom; not with a bang, but without even a whimper.

I just can't fathom that offense being as bad as they've been all summer long.

And in regards to the OL, for all the *****ing about rookies and Bell (essentially one); you really have to think and say.. How much worse can they possibly be than our "vets" were last year?

            Good read, Pat.

One suggestion....the font is difficult to read in the introduction.

            Great job with BSD!
