Interesting move. I wonder if he'll stick. They sure gambled a bit when they released him

Why Jenkins? If Fine is hurt, they should have put him on IR...

It was all about TE depth. Fine won't be ready and they don't want to go in tonight with only 2 healthy TE's.

Stupar impressed me this preseason... Id like to personally see him back up Nelson in the future

jenkins won't be touched by another team, perhaps because of when they released him, but even at the original 53 man roster, i'm sure jenkins wouldn't have been touched.

Continues with the futility of this team. Why get stupar, even though he did ok in preseason, to fill in for fine's spot? they are ok with the all rookie ol with the fragile qb, but having an inexperienced but highly talented nelson makes them uneasy? and then jenkins is let go to weaken the ST?

just makes you scratch your head.

Fine is not out for the year. That would be shortsighted.

They should have cut Wendling

We're stacked at WR Jenkins was by far the odd man out

I'm a little surprised. There is a bunch of other wastes of space on this roster that I would have cut over Jenkins. i hope we bring him back when Fine is healthy. But maybe this means that Hardy is doing better... :idunno:

Not really. Fine isn't all that. Stupar will outperform him even when he is healthy. Jenkins atleast performs on STs...what is Fine gonna do?

And on the radio, I heard that Fine's injury might be more severe than people think.

Once Fine is healthy, Stupar will go back to the practice squad and they'll re-sign Jenkins.
