I don't know about anyone else but I thought he looked good tonight. I was wondering if we traded for Peyton Manning tonight.

I know at least 2 drives died because of Bell's penalties and then dropped passes by Owens and Evans... and Nelson had another dropped pass for a 1st down.

The man took a huge amount of heat from fans and the media, and him and Jackson, and Schobel were our best players.

Lets give the guy some credit for once.

He looked like he had good command and knew exactly what he wanted to do. I think we would of had more points if for not dropped passes and stupid penalties.

i liked his play. he made the smart plays. they ran imaginative plays. it was a good first effort for 10 days of work. they need to add some things there, but he looked to be back to his better days form.

as much as i hate this team right now, i think they win next week. which is so annoying because jauron must go right now.

Ehh...he wasn't "great"...he managed the game, didn't make many plays. I'd still like to see him throw the ball down the field more.

Edwards played great. Let's see him do it consistently so he can be here long after Jauron is gone.

Yeah played well,,,credit due,,, BUT no throws beyond 20 yards with 2 big play weapons at his disposal.

You wanna beat the best. You gotta make big plays.

NE isn't going to give up big plays. What's wrong with taking 5-15 yard gains all day?

There was a couple plays downfield to Evans and Nelson that were dropped....

Then there was one to Reed... but we had a penalty on the play.

I liked his game tonight. Did a good job of keeping his poise in a tough environment and under pressure. More games like this and he'll start to win me back.

Still too many check downs he wont take a chance and go down field but didn't turn the ball over needs to trust his WR more hopefully we'll see that in weeks to come.

I have to admit, I was expecting them to open up the bombs down the field in the second half. Either Edwards was still hesitant to throw the deeper balls or the coverage was just allowing the underneath stuff that much more.

Honestly, the underneath passes to the TE's and Jackson looked open all game long. It could be that Edwards was simply making the right decisions. It's not like his receivers made great plays to bail him out. If I were him, after the first couple of drops I wouldn't really have trusted them either.

You sure can't blame him for the 0-1 start.

How many plays past 20 yards did Brady make?

Both teams took the deep ball away... that's why the underneath stuff was open.

Edwards looks good. In command. But he HAS to establish a deep threat.

You sure can't blame him for the 0-1 start.

Trent should of ran out on the field and recovered McKelvin's fumble and then batted down both TD's to Watson.

I wasn't. My point is it doesn't matter how he played. He could have thrown 10 picks. Either way we still lost.

Whats wrong is that its not easy to maintain 15 play drives every time... the defense will make a play eventually and your drive will die.

How many plays did our offense run in the first half compared to NE? Not many.

You have to get the ball downfield and impose your will on a defense as Brady did to win the game.

We didn't get TO in here to run interference for Fred Jackson ALL DAY.

I believe Moss had 150 yards receiving and Welker had 93. Many of Moss' catches were downfield, down the seem, or deep come back routes.

How many catches did our Top 2 wrs have? 3? 4?
